Contact

3D 2048 is built and maintained by one person. There is no support team and no ticket queue — messages come straight to the developer, and every one of them is read.

Because this is a one-developer project worked on around other commitments, replies are not immediate and are not guaranteed — but reports that include enough detail to reproduce a problem are acted on first.

What to get in touch about

Bug reports

The most useful thing you can send. Please include your browser and version, your device (desktop or mobile, and which OS), the game mode you were in, and what you did just before the problem appeared. "The controls felt off after rotating" was a short comment from a player that led directly to the camera-relative controls update, so short reports are welcome too.

Feature requests and feedback

Ideas for new modes, controls, or quality-of-life changes are genuinely read and do influence what gets built. The FAQ lists some ideas already under consideration — if one of them matters to you, saying so helps it move up.

Leaderboard entries

If you believe an entry on the global leaderboard should be removed — because it looks manipulated, or because a name is inappropriate — send the game mode, the name, and the score. Entries contain no personal identifier, so those three details are what make an entry findable. The rules are set out in section 3 of the Terms of Service.

Privacy and data questions

Questions about what the Game stores, cookie consent, or advertising are answered in the Privacy Policy. If something there is unclear or you have a specific concern, ask through the form.

Licensing, embedding, and portals

Linking to the Game is always fine, and non-commercial embedding needs no permission. For commercial embedding, portal distribution, or licensing, please ask first — see section 4 of the Terms of Service. An itch.io build packaged as a single embeddable HTML file already exists at morati.itch.io/3d-2048, which covers most embedding needs.

Before you write

A good share of incoming questions are already answered in the FAQ — missing scores after an update, PWA installation, browser support, how the leaderboard works, and whether the Game runs offline. It is worth a look first; if the answer is not there, that itself is useful to know.

About the developer

3D 2048 is made by morati, an independent developer based in Japan. The Game started as an experiment in whether the 2048 mechanic still works when the grid becomes a rotating cube, and it has been maintained and expanded since. The story behind 3D 2048 covers how it was built and the design decisions along the way.
