3D 2048 — the classic puzzle, now in a rotating cube

3D 2048 is a free browser puzzle game that takes the flat 2048 board and rebuilds it as a cube. Instead of a 4×4 grid you get a rotating 3×3×3 cube — 27 cells, and six directions to slide in: up, down, left, right, plus away from you and toward you. Matching numbers collide and double, a new tile appears in a free cell, and you keep going until the cube is full. Nothing to install and no account to make; once the page has loaded it also works offline.

How to play

Slide the whole cube in one direction. Two tiles showing the same number merge into one tile of double the value, and a single new tile spawns in an empty cell. On a computer the arrow keys move up, down, left and right, W pushes tiles away from you, S pulls them toward you, and Z undoes one move; dragging with the mouse rotates the cube. On a phone there is an on-screen pad plus a depth control, or you can swipe. Movement is relative to the camera, so however far you rotate the cube, "left" is always the left of your screen. A small window shows the far side at the same time, so tiles hidden behind other tiles are never a guess.
